Hi Everyone, This week was super busy with some fantastic activities. On Monday, Jon took took the students to the pub. Only a couple went, but this was a fantastic opportunity for those students to practise their English with a teacher. Knowing Jon, he would have told them about some fantastic places to visit in London. On Tuesday, Tim was very excited to take the students to the London Aquarium. He has lived in London for a while but hadn't ever visited this famous tourist attraction. He told me that he had a fantastic time and couldn't believe that he hadn't ever been before! It's also one of my personal favourites. On Wednesday, we had a very special treat – a trip to see one of the best shows that the West End has to offer – THE LION KING! When I asked the students the next day how it was, they said it was so good that words couldn't describe it! I agree, it is certainly one show you should go and see if you haven't yet! Even better, the students were sat in the 2nd and 3rd row! On Thursday, Hannah took the students to the Natural History Museum, here is what she has to say about it: 'Only a small group went to The Natural History Museum yesterday. The students enjoyed all the dinosaur displays and other extinct animals. The highlights though were the Earth's Treasures exhibition where hundreds of crystals and rare rocks were on display. After the museum a few students even went to the pub!' Hannah also took a photo of the students outside the Museum. It looked like a beautiful sunny day in London. Friday is club night as per usual. We sold some tickets, so I hope you all had fun at Cafe De Paris.. Next week is Halloween – I hope you are all planning your scary costumes – there will be prizes for the best dressed! Our party is on Wednesday! Hope to see you all there! Danielle
