Business English Mini-Group courses run for 3 hours in the morning from Monday to Friday (9.15 -12.45) and are ideal for experienced professional working people who want to become more confident with the practical English they need for the workplace and business situations. Attendees improve accuracy and fluency through controlled practical scenarios.

Importantly,, this course is ideal for working people who want to improve their ability to communicate effectively in the workplace and internationally.

What will I experience during this Business English course?

You will have the opportunity to improve and develop your Business English skills in the morning (average class size 4) and develop your general fluency in the afternoon mini-group.
Morning Business English group classes are based on an interactive approach where you participate in problem-solving tasks, case studies and business simulations. In addition, you work on typical business skills such as giving presentations and telephoning.
Both the morning and afternoon parts of the course encourage you to fully participate in the lessons. Our well-trained and dedicated teachers ensure the classes are full of engaging and relevant topics to help you communicate effectively and achieve your professional goals.
Afternoon lessons contain an emphasis on group work, where you work with other students to complete tasks such as a project about working in London.

Business English Mini Group Plus

A business English course combining the morning Business English Mini-Group course (9.15 – 12.45) and an afternoon General English mini-group (13.30-15.00).

Mini-groups in the afternoon allow the tutor to focus on the immediate needs of the students whilst improving listening and speaking skills, expanding vocabulary and developing confidence. Afternoon classroom activities range from discussions of issues and topics such as travel, film, culture and politics through to project work based around internet research.

These courses are ideal course for working people who want to develop their Business English skills as well as focus on specific individual requirements.

What will I do on the Business English course?

This course, attractively combining group and individual classes, ensures you develop your practical Business English skills as well as meet your individual needs in the one-to-one lessons.
As specialists in one-to-one tuition you can expect well-planned and stimulating individual lessons from your teacher. You can choose weekly either 5 (Combo 5), 10 ( Combo 10) or 15 ( Combo 15) lessons of individual tuition in the afternoon. 1 lesson = 45 minutes.
You are guaranteed full and comprehensive feedback on what you have studied and accomplished in your one-to-one afternoon lessons as well as clear guidance as to further English study after leaving the school.
You will develop your Business English speaking confidence, as well as focusing on elements of your English connected to your profession or in need of special attention

Our Individual Business English courses are ideal for determined professionals who wish to study intensively. Away from the distraction of a busy office or home life, these one-to-one programmes in London give participants the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in their English language study.

The content of each course is personalised for each student. Before the start of your course our Director of Studies will assess your level and your individual language requirements, so that you will learn what you need and want to learn. Various individual tuition courses are available, including:

Semi-Intensive Business English Study for half a day = 20 lessons per week (15 actual hours of lesson time) You decide whether to take lessons in the morning or the afternoon
Crash Business English Course Study English for the whole day = 40 lessons per week (30 hours): Lessons begin at 9:15am and finish at 4.45pm
Immersion in Business English 50 lessons per week (37.5 classroom hours) You have lunch with an English teacher in a range of recommended restaurants. Cost of lunch is covered by the course fees. Lessons begin every day at 09:15 and finish at 5:30pm

This course includes a daily lunch with a Business English teacher. The relaxed atmosphere of the working lunch allows the student to develop soft skills and discuss current affairs and other topics.
